The Kissing Hand

I read aloud the book The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn the first week at school.  Students made raccoons and wrote about what they hoped to learn this year.  They put together their hand prints and made cookie hands.  It has been a busy start.  We are making our beginning of the year class books.
